Many business owners launch a new website, search Google and are deeply disappointed to find it missing entirely, even when typing the company's exact name. This common problem has specific causes.
The first and most basic cause is a technical restriction. During development, specialists usually block robots using `Disallow: /` in robots.txt or `<meta name="robots" content="noindex">`. Sometimes they simply forget to remove it at handover, and Google continues skipping the pages.
The second cause is absent indexing. Google cannot know about a new website unless informed. Connect it to Google Search Console and submit an XML sitemap. This tells the robot about every page and speeds indexing.
The third cause is content quality. If there is no text, or it is copied from elsewhere, Google considers it low-value and omits it from results. A website needs unique, helpful information answering people's real questions.
