Windows reinstallation: when is it really necessary?

How to know whether Windows needs reinstalling: overload, viruses, blue screens (BSOD) and data preservation.

Over time, any Windows computer becomes slower than when purchased. Installed and removed programs, temporary files, registry errors and background processes overload RAM and the processor. A clean operating system installation is often the best solution.

The first obvious reason is severe malware attacks. Endless advertising pop-ups, ransomware-encrypted files or missing system files may not be fully resolved by a simple antivirus scan. A clean format guarantees 100% cleanliness.

The second sign is critical system failure, the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). If it is not caused by physical component damage such as burned-out RAM or SSD, corrupted drivers and system conflicts are removed by a fresh operating system installation.

The most important rule is data safety. Never begin without transferring important documents, photographs, the 1C database and browser passwords to secure external storage. A professional approach guarantees that no important file is lost.
