Shopping on smartphone screens requires a completely different approach from desktop versions. Small screens, users on the move and connections that are not always stable require every element to be refined to perfection.

The biggest mistake many Armenian stores make is complicated checkout. If buyers must fill 15 different fields, create a complex password and confirm their email before seeing the payment page, 8 out of 10 simply abandon the cart. Mobile needs the one-screen rule: name, phone number, delivery address and payment method.

Convenient filters and search are the second important factor. On mobile, filters should open in a separate convenient bottom sheet or modal and show results with one tap. Search needs automatic suggestions so users do not have to type long text on a small keyboard.

At payment, Idram QR or Apple Pay / Google Pay is decisive. Nobody likes taking a bank card out of their pocket and typing 16 digits on a minibus or while walking. One-tap payment dramatically increases completed transactions.
